Clergy Conference [Fall 2023]
Clergy Conference will begin at the Tallahassee Auto Museum after lunch (1:00 p.m.) Thursday, November 2, and conclude before lunch on Friday, November 3. Synod will begin Friday evening. Registration is required to attend these events.
Please Bring
- a Book of Common Prayer (2019) – for Morning Prayer on Friday
- a print or digital copy of the Strategic Plan Overview, having already read it before your arrival — the Strategic Plan overview will be emailed prior to Clergy Conference
Description
As part of our strategic plan, Bishop Alex is calling the Diocese to Reach the Next Generation of the Church by concentrating on reaching every generation with the Gospel. Those who come to faith now are the next generation of the Church—whether they’re children, youth, or our next door neighbors. How can our churches effectively reach those around us? The Rev. Canon Aaron Buttery, Provincial Canon for Next Generation Leadership, will lead us to consider this question more deeply.
