Join us so that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord! (Psalm 102)
In Matthew 28 Jesus calls us to make disciples, not just Christians. He doesn’t just call us to baptize others- he calls us to teach them. Next Generation Discipleship pursues this mandate, this Great Commission. Passing on the faith is a call woven into the three areas of our diocesan mission statement: it is part of strengthening our current churches, part of planting new churches, and part of calling others to lead us in doing so. Bishop Neil has even said that it may be the most important charge of our work for the Kingdom.
We are intentionally trying to disciple the next generation through our three main programs: Camp Araminta, Dynamos, and Soul in the City. Each of these programs offer leadership training and experience for those seeking to serve. Please visit these webpages to learn more about each program.
The Gulf Atlantic Diocese is an active part of the ACNA’s Next Generation Leadership Initiative, striving to raise up the next generation of leaders for our province. Our diocese also seeks to support individual parishes and churches with training and resources as well as networking and praying for each other.
