There are very few experiences that have changed our lives more than traveling to Israel . And very little in our discipling of others has had a greater impact than taking them to Israel . We therefore want to share with you several exciting opportunities to experience Israel with others from around our diocese. Let us share some key reasons why this is the best possible trip to familiarize you with Israel:

The Leadership

The trip is created as a ministry to clergy, lay leaders and their spouses. It will be led by a guide who is a committed believer in the Messiah, and is trained in the Scriptures and the history of Israel. Marcia and I will serve as co-leaders and hosts. We have been leading Israel trips for almost thirty years now. We have actually lost count!  Our Familiarization trip in 2011 was deeply rewarding and we are anxious to offer this opportunity once more.

The Focus 

Our primary goal is to help you understand Jesus better…  his teaching, ministry lifestyle, death, resurrection, ascension and Kingdom. We focus on the Jewish roots of the Christian faith to better understand the Kingdom of God and discipleship.

The Details and Cost

The price is set as close to actual cost as possible to make the program accessible to as many potential future tour leaders and spouses as we can. (See brochures for specific trips above). These familiarization trips, including airfare, costs less than many programs charge for only the land portion. (You may also make your own air arrangements and pay for the land portion separately, but our direct flight to Tel Aviv is very convenient.) As usual, our arrangements have been made through MTS, the largest agency for mission and relief travel in North America.
