Diocesan Discernment Process

Welcome to the Diocesan Discernment Process for Ordained Ministry!

God is raising up men and women to ordained leadership in His Church!  What a privilege it is to walk alongside those who are discerning this call as this discernment happens within the context of the local parish as well as in the Diocese.  The goal of the Discernment Process for Ordained Ministry in the Gulf Atlantic Diocese is to be thorough, yet flexible.  Here you will be able to find the materials you need to take the next step - whether you are a layperson discerning a call, a Rector, a member of the Parish Discernment Team, a Vestry person, or in Diocesan leadership.

If you have questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact the Rev. Shari Hobby, Diocesan Discernment Team Chair. (229) 379-6501 or sharihobby@gmail.com.
